Eagle Precision's line of tube beading machines are designed for speed
reliability and versatility in high production environments. The powerful, efficient beading machine utilizes one piece cast iron construction, ensuring maximum strength and rigidity.
Standard TC-2000 The TC-2000 beading machine is capable of cutting
tubing up to 7 mm (3.0" diameter) for most applications with cutoff cycle times that typically average two seconds per part. Hydraulic power clamps the tube and performs the shear operations. After the tube is inserted in the die cavity, camping dies secure the tube for shearing. The shear blade is fabricated from high impact tool steel for maximum durability.
Simple design of the head and electrical components provides increased
accessibility for this beading machine; tool changes and setup typically take less than three minutes. Production setup for the beading machine is performed by adjusting the forward stroke of the cylinder that operates the cutting blade. The cutting tool performing the work on the tube is a simple quick change design.
By choosing any of several types of quick change tooling available for
the beading machine, many functions can be performed on various
materials:
- Angle end trim - Applications include cosmetic outlet tubes and joining of tubes
- Radius end trim - Widely used for crossover joints where a tight fit is required for welding
- Scallop cut - Allows a tube to be seated against another tube having he same radius
