Automatic Loaders / Offloaders
Eagle offers a variety of choices for automatic loading and unloading.
These encompass semiautomatic loaders, plus fully automatic loading
systems including bundle hoppers, seam finders and robotic or pick and
place offloading. Automatic loaders are available in non-mandrel or
over-the mandrel pipe bender types.
The Eagle Eaton Leonard CNC mandrel pipe bender enables
computer-automated pipe bending capabilities. The Eagle Eaton Leonard
CNC mandrel pipe bender is programmed and controlled by a computer
station. The computer can store almost infinite amounts of programs in
memory. Slide a tube, cut it to a specific length which is in place
over the mandrel, punch in the program required, and activate it. The
computer and the mandrel pipe bender do the rest of the work for you.
The mandrel pipe bender is covered with grease for the swivelling serve
motors that are next to the piece of tubing that is being pushed over
it.
Once the tube is pushed in place over the mandrel pipe bender, the
machine pushes it forward, between the concave dies, one of which
hydraulically rotates to make a bend of a programmed angle. The mandrel pipe bender can make 180-degree bends (called U-bends). Lastly, The Eagle Eaton Leonard CNC mandrel pipe bender also rotates the pipe, programmed to your specifications, between bends.
